Joe Gingold

Joe enlisted in the US Army Reserves, where he served as a medic, and then also as his unit’s Retention Department Sergeant. He attended Officer Candidate School (OCS) and upon graduation from OCS, he was commissioned as a Transportation Corp Officer. His combined enlisted service and as a commissioned officer spanned for over 31 years in the US Army Reserves, which included him being deployed to Iraq. He held various positions as a commissioned officer, which included: Civil Affairs Liaison, Observer Controller-Teacher (OC-T), Personnel Officer (S1), Company Commander, Battle Captain and Supply Officer (S4) in Iraq, Project Manager of the 98th Training Division Command Staff (S.G.S.), Battalion Executive Officer (XO) and Operations Officer/ATO (Anti-Terrorism Officer) . During his Army Reserves service, Joe was mobilized several times where he served over 7 ½ years on full-time active duty assignments. During his respective active duty assignments, Joe was deployed overseas once and placed within several full time tours throughout the United States. Joe is the recipient of numerous awards, which include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with 2 - Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Army Commendation Medal with 2 - Oak Leaf Clusters, being his three highest awards.

Joe has a diverse background in his non-military professional career with positions which range within: sales, project management, and the electrical trade. He currently works for Allstate and continues to develop his electrical background as well.

Joe is an ardent supporter of volunteering within the community and can be found participating in several non-profit organizations. Joe has been involved for many years in the leadership roles of several scout units in the Boy Scouts of America. Upon receiving his Eagle Rank and turning 18yrs old, Joe was asked to be an adult leader of his scout troop. He has continued to be an adult volunteer since then and currently holds leadership positions in three scout units.
